Super bride no doubt.
We teased our followers on IG with a few stories from Ioanna & Andreas Wedding Day which was held at the picturesque village of Vavla a short while ago. Overcast and breezy in the middle of a summer day the Mountainous terrain, brick layered road and the setup from Splendid made everything come together in harmony for some truly filmic scenes.

We updated the layout and went through some key changes: the discontinuation of Mediterranea Volume One for Panasonic Cameras and MV.One as a Photography Lightroom bundle.
For now you can explore Mediterranea Volume One & Caramel Dreams. We are working on a new palette targeted for Fashion Cinematographers. We are engaging in this primarily as a study on saturated colour styles based on harmony and theory. More on that in September so visit back.

We were supposed to be in Rodos for Alex & Maria’s perfect day.
You know how this story goes : Covid Covid Covid.
Nonetheless the guys found a perfect spot that perfectly encapsulates the essence of Rodos. The best part of it is that the Church’s architect is Maria’s father so theres was an extra layer of meaning to their choice.
Karina Leonenko was the photographer but we couldn’t resist taking this snap.
Being an architect family meant that Maria’s prep was also held at an equally impressive super minimal house which gave us the perfect setting and lighting for our shots. Tiny mini teaser for y’all.
We had another triple header this weekend. Super tiring but super satisfying. When you’re in love with weddings you know what this means. Every couple has their own little story and it’s an absolute joy to get to be part of it.

A worthy atmosphere.
On Saturday we had the honour to be with the Barakat clan who flew from Lebanon for Sarah’s wedding. A totally international crowd with Tom’s family being flown in from the UK, Belgium the USA and Mexico. A very colourful crowd indeed. Also Sarah and Tom had two ceremonies, one in Nicosia and one in Ayia Napa. Yes you have questions more in time 🤓.

The following day (Sunday) we were off to the polar opposite of the beach wedding we were the day before. We were off to the mountainous region of Xiliatos for a super stylish themed Wedding in a vineyard .

We had a truly marvellous wedding day at the village of Moutoulas.
Julieta had her close family flown in from Greece and the USA. They along with Christo’s family embraced local tradition openly bonding their families together. Stories written by the moments, ageing like fine wine in our memories. We got to capture all that and everything in between.

We’ve been so busy, we almost forgot we made this! 🤓 But hey, now’s as good a time as any to share. Over two action-packed days at Touch Glove Pro Training Club in Nicosia, we had an absolute blast filming this. We experimented with lights, freestyled (or should we say shadow-boxed?) around the ring, and danced through the action with Lewis—getting up close and personal with his gladiators.

A white dress is an emblem of purity, innocence and the unsullied heart a bride yields to her chosen one. Wedding dresses weren’t always white though.
Ancient Athenian brides wore long violet or light reddish robes when getting married. Upon entering, an Athenian bride was given a quince fruit to bite into, like Persephone tasting the pomegranate seeds from the underworld orchards. The earliest recorded instance of a white wedding dress in Western culture is that of the English Princess Philippa at her wedding to the Scandinavian King Eric in 1406.
No matter the colour of your wedding dress one thing is certain - brides are like blooming flowers extending their reach and seducing everyone who gazes upon them.

Sometimes the simplest of emotions are difficult to explain let alone define. Fortunately there exists an innate manifestation and an unavoidable graceful exposure to ones true self through moving pictures.
It is often sublime - subdued within and reading between the lines of colour, sound and pace becomes an expression of its own. Sometimes though, through it, all is laid bare and we are lucky enough to experience the sealing of an unyielding love and the creation of a bond between two lovers.
